Biography

  • Dr. Gaurav Kumar has graduated from Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, and an institute of the Manipal Group of colleges. This college is recognized by the British Columbia Student Assistance Program (BCSAP) and Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), also enlisted with the WHO.
  • He has completed his postgraduate M.S. orthropedics training from Sri Ramachandra Medical College Chennai, which is also a special training center for sports medicine and arthroscopy. This institute boasts of training its postgraduate students in joint replacement and trauma surgery in a skills lab and cadaveric surgical training.
  • Since completion of his postgraduate training, which spanned a period of more than seventeen years, he has been practicing in Lucknow
  • Joined Sahara Hospital, the first corporate hospital in Lucknow, where he worked from 2009 to 2012.
  • Teaching being his primary passion pulled him to the Integral Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Lucknow, which had started a 350-bed teaching hospital in 2012.
